On 29th August 2026, the Staff, Students and Mothers of St. Patrick’s Primary School, Pune came together at the National War Memorial, Southern Command, Pune, to celebrate Raksha Bandhan through the meaningful activity “Ek Rakhi Sainik Ke Naam.”
With every Rakhi tied, the children expressed more than affection—they offered gratitude, respect and prayers to the brave soldiers who safeguard our freedom. The sacred thread became a symbol of the bond between those who protect the nation and those who live in the freedom they secure.
The experience inspired our students to recognise that true patriotism is not only in words, but in gratitude, responsibility and service.
